Sisters of St. Therese of the Child Jesus of Bukoba, Tanzania
Since 1933, the Sisters of St. Therese of the Child Jesus of the Catholic Diocese in Bukoba, Tanzania have served the poor as missionary nuns. This religious order, comprised of over 450 Sisters, was founded in response to the tremendous needs of the people in East Africa.
With the community motto of "Here I am; send me." (Isaiah 6:8), the Sisters respond to God's call to serve beyond the border of Tanzania and into the neighboring countries of Kenya and Burundi. By sharing your resources, you will enable the Sisters to continue to make a difference in the lives of the suffering poor. If you feel called to help, click below to donate now.
