2024

  • Orphanage Child Sponsorship Program funded
  • Orphanage General Funds provided
  • Funded rabbit pen, chicken coop, cow barn and car repairs
  • Two students graduated from college with degrees in Community Development and Medical Studies/Anesthesiology

2023

  • Orphanage Child Sponsorship Program funded
  • Orphanage General Funds provided
  • Covered extraordinary  medical expense for one student
  • Funded new plumbing and car repairs
  • Sponsored two young women for spiritual formation to become St. Therese Sisters
  • Five students graduated from college with degrees in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance & Compatibility, Telecommunications and Electronics

2022

  • Orphanage Child Sponsorship Program funded
  • Orphanage General Funds provided
  • ​Funded car repairs
  • Funded farming equipment and supplies 
  • One student graduated from college with a degree in Community Development

2021

  • Orphanage Child Sponsorship Program funded
  • Orphanage General Funds provided
  • Funded bicycles, wheel barrows and car repairs
  • Three students started their first year of college
  • Three students graduated from high school 
  • One student graduated from vocational training in mechanics
  • Three students were provided funds to start their businesses

2020

  • Funded the purchase of two acres of land to grow produce
  • Orphanage Child Sponsorship Program funded
  • Orphanage General Funds provided
  • Provided one student with a sewing machine to start his own business
  • Provided one student with tailoring supplies to start his own business
  • One student graduated from the University of Health Sciences Institute 
  • Two students graduated from high school 
  • One student graduated from vocational training in electricity 
  • One student received the Sacrament of Matrimony

2019

  • Orphanage Child Sponsorship Program funded
  • Orphanage General Funds provided
  • Funded car repairs, water pump, pit latrine, bikes and wheelbarrows
  • Six students graduated from high school
  • Two students graduated from vocational training in tailoring and plan to start their own business
  • Five students entered college
  • One student is engaged to be married
  • One student was reunited with her aunt
  • One student accepted employment as a housemaid/cook 

2018

  • Orphanage Child Sponsorship Program funded
  • Orphanage General Funds provided
  • Supplied vocational training graduates with building materials for their new homes 
  • Seven students graduated from vocational training in mechanics, computer science or masonry
  • Seven students took the National Entry Exam for university admission in July 2019

2017

  • Orphanage Child Sponsorship Program funded
  • Orphanage General Funds provided​
  • Orphanage computer lab construction and purchased computers, printers, and furniture
  • Orphanage Pig Project implemented and funded

2016

  • Orphanage Child Sponsorship Program funded
  • Orphanage General Funds provided
  • 25 new mattresses purchased
  • Orphanage laundry facility and plumbing constructed
  • Altar table and benches purchased for the orphanage chapel
  • College tuitions funded
  • One student completed her vocational training in tailoring and was reunited with her mother

2015

  • Orphanage Child Sponsorship Program funded
  • Orphanage General Funds provided
  • One student graduated from secondary school and is employed as a chef
  • One student completed vocational training in tailoring and is self-employed
  • One child received the Sacrament of Baptism

2014

  • Orphanage Child Sponsorship Program funded
  • Orphanage General Funds provided
  • Two siblings were reunited with their family in Somalia

2013

  • Orphanage Child Sponsorship Program funded
  • Orphanage General Funds provided
  • One student was reunited with her grandmother
  • One student was reunited with her father
  • One student was reunited with her aunt and completed her vocational training program in tailoring

2012

  • Orphanage Child Sponsorship Program funded
  • Orphanage General Funds provided
  • Orphanage kitchen and cafeteria constructed
  • ​One child received the Sacrament of Baptism

2011

  • Orphanage Child Sponsorship Program funded
  • Orphanage General Funds provided
  • One student completed vocational training in computer science
  • ​One child received the Sacrament of Baptism

2010

  • Orphanage Child Sponsorship Program funded
  • Orphanage General Funds provided
  • Four children were the Sacrament of Baptism
  • One child received the Sacrament of First Communion
  • Two children received the Sacrament of Confirmation

2009

  • Orphanage Child Sponsorship Program funded
  • Orphanage General Funds provided
  • Car purchased 
  • Three students passed the Burundi National Exam and were admitted into secondary school
  • One student was admitted into technical school to study accounting and computers
  • Eight children received the Sacrament of Baptism

2008
